Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking a workshop: refunds, accessibility, what to bring, group size, and the details that are specific to each session.

General booking questions

How do I book a workshop?
Pick the workshop page, fill out the request form with your preferred date, time, and location, and Jenn will follow up to confirm details and deposit. You can also use the main contact form on the homepage.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
For hosted groups, deposits are refundable up to 14 days before the event. Inside 14 days the deposit can be moved to a rescheduled date. Open-to-the-public tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event.
Are the workshops accessible?
Jenn needs a ground-floor or elevator-accessible room with seating that can be rearranged. Let her know about any mobility, hearing, vision, or sensory needs when you book and she will make it work.
What should I bring?
A notebook, a pen, and a willingness to be honest. Water and snacks are a good idea — three hours of real talk is energizing work. Jenn brings the prompts, structure, and bad jokes.
How many people can attend?
Find Your Funny works best with 8–30 people. The No-Shrink Session can scale up to 40. Smaller groups are fine too — the room just needs enough energy to carry honest conversation.
Do I need comedy or performance experience?
Not at all. Both workshops are built for total beginners. If you have never held a mic, that is the point.
Where are workshops held?
Jenn is booking across Southern Colorado — Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and surrounding towns. You provide the room, or ask about available community spaces when you reach out.
Can men attend?
These sessions are designed for women and women's groups. If you are organizing a mixed-gender or corporate event, reach out and Jenn can talk through whether it is the right fit.
Can you customize a workshop for my group?
Yes. Retreats, conferences, corporate ERGs, church groups, and book clubs can all get a tailored version. Mention your goals in the request form and Jenn will build something that fits.

Not at all. The workshop is built for total beginners. If you've never held a mic, that's the point.
What should I bring?
Something to write with and a willingness to be honest. A notebook, a pen, and water. Jenn brings the prompts, the structure, and the bad jokes.
Is the room accessible?
Jenn needs a ground-floor or elevator-accessible room with space for a chair to be moved or removed as needed. Tell her about any mobility, hearing, or vision needs when you book and she'll make it work.
What's the refund policy?
For hosted groups, deposits are refundable up to 14 days before the event. Within 14 days the deposit can move to a rescheduled date. Individual ticket sales, if offered, are refundable up to 7 days out.
Will I really have to perform?
Yes — in hour three everyone does a short 3-minute set. But the room is warm, the crowd is on your side, and bombing is part of the curriculum.

The No-Shrink Session — Self-empowerment + reset

Is this therapy?
No. It's honest conversation with structure and humor. Jenn is not a therapist — she's a facilitator who believes women deserve a room where they can say the quiet part out loud.
What should I bring?
A notebook, a pen, and one thing you're tired of apologizing for. Snacks and water are a good idea too — three hours of real talk is energizing work.
Is the room accessible?
Yes. The venue needs to be reachable by elevator or ground floor with seating that can be rearranged. Let Jenn know about any access, hearing, or sensory needs when you book.
What's the refund policy?
Hosted group deposits are refundable up to 14 days before the workshop. Inside 14 days the deposit can be transferred to a rescheduled date. Open-to-the-public tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event.
Can men attend?
This session is designed for women and women's groups. If you're organizing a mixed-gender or corporate event, reach out and Jenn can talk through whether it's the right fit.

Shipping & delivery (merch)

How much is shipping?
Flat $5.95 on every US order, no matter how much you buy. The exact amount is confirmed on the Shopify checkout page before you pay.
How long will my order take?
Merch is printed on demand, so nothing sits in a box waiting. Your order is printed and shipped in 2–5 business days, then 3–7 business days in transit. Busy launch weeks and holidays can add a couple of days.
Why does it say “made to order”?
Each item is printed after you order it through Jenn's print partner, then shipped straight to you. It means less waste, no dead stock, and a couple of extra days before it lands.
Where do you ship?
United States only for now, including APO/FPO addresses. If you're outside the US and want merch, reach out and Jenn will see what she can do.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. Shopify emails a confirmation as soon as you order and a tracking link the moment the package ships. Check spam if it hasn't shown up within a few days.
What if my package is late, lost, or arrives damaged?
If tracking hasn't moved in 7 business days past the delivery window, or the order shows up damaged or misprinted, email Jenn with your order number and a photo. She'll get a replacement printed or refund it.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Every piece is printed just for you, so we can't take back a size change of heart — but misprints, defects, or damaged deliveries get replaced free within 30 days. Email Jenn with a photo and she'll sort it out.

Still have a question?

Jenn answers every booking email personally. Send the date, the city, and what you are hoping the room walks away with.
